The Recontre shirt interprets our classic black and white colour blocking in a lighter, summer version. Strips of poplin in the two colours are stitched together with a contrast thread detail, giving stripes a sharper edge and shifting focus to a more craft-led process, shaped by the precision it demands.

The Craft

Black and white cotton poplin shirt built from individual strips of each colour stitched together. Visible contrast thread runs every seam, sharpening the edge of each stripe and exposing the construction.

"Colour-blocking is an old ROSANI idea. With the Recontre shirt I wanted it to look less printed and more constructed. You see the thread, you see the seam. That is the shirt."
