The Craft

Black organza-viscose comfort fit with metallic embellishments applied across the surface. The organza base is sheer enough to carry light through it. The metallic elements are set to follow the drape of the fabric rather than work against it. The shirt moves with the body.

"Epine is French for thorn, but it is also the root of the word for spine. I chose organza for this shirt because it is the most fragile fabric that still holds a silhouette. The metalwork is the spine inside it. The two things create each other. That is what I wanted for this piece."
